Irritatingly chirpy Home Counties twaddle that will herald the onset of some poor berks adolescence then they’ll, like, SO, grow up and discover Nick Drake and go to university and inflict themselves on cynical old fuckers with far superior musical collections still left in their parents attics, then they themselves will form a band marrying this turgid re-write of early eighties indie-disco funk with the Busted revival or something. Or maybe Yellowstone will have blown its earth-hernia by then. Oh, and no it’s not right at all, it’s like SO wrong it’s not true. I think there’s an album out now too. Oh well. By the time you’ve looked at your watch again another crop-topped set of twerps will have toddled off the conveyor belt of Camden Town dreams.
