Ice Ages - Buried Silence |
Intro Buried Silence Regret From Grey to... Icarus Through The Mirror Essential Loss Enemy Inside Tormented In Grace Curse
Ice Ages have created their own signature sound of dark, industrial metal. Buried Silence is yet more of the same but is not much of a progression for them, but it is not by any means a bad album. Aggressive and almost robotic beats give the album a heavy sound. Ice Ages sound completely belongs to them, creating a gloomy and dark tone. The album will no doubt appeal to fans of techno and industrial music and would clearly sound awesome in a live setting but for those looking for something technical or easy to listen to, you should look elsewhere
Buried Silence is one of those albums that it is possible to listen to several times in one go. It is strangely catchy but your never sure why. Every song has its own personality and adds to the landscape and adds more depth to their sound. Even the intro sets a dark, disturbing tone.
Apart from the unimaginative band name there is plenty of things that fans of any kind of metal will find attractive in Buried Silence but there may not be much new for people who have already got into Ice Ages.
