First up were five-piece metal/thrash band,  Rise To Remain.  An introduction that was covered in over the top relentlessness. With material jam packed with face melting solo's and wild vocals and meaty riffs to lick your fingers too the crowd were driven into a frenzy despite some technical failure.

As everyone waited in anticipation for the quintet from Reading to grace the stage, it was strangely silent. The set began with an intro that had fills from a song on the new album "Remember The Day". It gave a whole new mood to the show, a really epic and omnipitent feel. They blasted in with a very tight "Technically Alive" and carried their set on following suit. Again, mic failure occured, but that didn't stop Ryan, he thought fast on his feet and grabbed guitarist Stu's mic, and continued on the show with that. Luckily, it was not hazardous to their set, and they still sounded perfect. It was heart warming to see such a love for a band, and a band to have so much love for their fans. When the crowd would sing along to well known numbers, the smiles that were on the bands' faces' were priceless. A real sense of recognision. A sweaty, pumping half an hour later, their set was ended, but the crowd was not budging. Demanding more, Exit Ten played a 2-song encore, ending in the old, yet still powerful, ‘Absence Of Forgiveness’ After that cracker of an encore, they left the stage and did not return.
